This is my love letter to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show. It started as 2 panels then morphed into 3 because we are all a little worried about you, Barton.

Yes, ha, posting this under the same impulse as ppl taking selfzies just out of the shower, I expect. Just showing the messy process of comics-making. Here, first, thumbs [grey, bot left], then pencils in blue, and finally inks on top. Still to go: spot blacks, color, dialog, sfx and a final pass to fix the likenesses, cause portraits. Comics. What an efficient use of time!
Who should ? be, panel 1, far left?
Absent for awhile !REALITY INTRUSION! and in the meantime the Ao3 fundraiser happened and this very kind soul who I do not know contributed a queenly sum to the OTW for a short comic, which I don’t even because I utterly failed to advertise or anything. Here’s a couple of panels from p3 of Debrief. I’m so grateful to everyone who bid!
Aaaaand because of David Aja I can no longer draw Clint Barton without a bandaid on his nose.
Fanart for a very beautiful story by Sidney Sussex, The Loner and the Lighthouseman. This is my own version of the light, the Highland Light off Cape Cod, MA, homesick like woah gonna go weep softly in a corner now.
Yes, ha, look, don’t ask me how these things happen. I was minding my own business, between projects, when I ran across this discussion, and yeah. Also stripper!Clint really really likes eyeliner. You people are totally enablers.
Natasha, bad. BAD.
I blame this on the flu which laid me out for a week during which i watched Wreck It Ralph 11 times so now everything I draw looks like it escaped from Sugar Rush. Hence, pink, polka-dot shuriken.
“Clint had been to Coulson’s apartment all of twice in the past. Once because Phil had been out of contact and there was concern that he had been compromised (he’d been concussed, and bleeding, and making hot chocolate, and very unimpressed at having a strike team agent crash through his window). ” -excerpt from “Suits and Ties”, a sequel to If it Suits (Avengers, Clint/Coulson) by tawghasa, more here. Which I would just reblog but hell if I can figure out how.
This is the instant before Coulson unleashed havoc on the misinformed strike team agent, who I feel very sorry for.
I got this excerpt by putting a heart in Tawg’s askbox. Which apparently you can just do and people will give you awesome bits of their WIP, how wonderful is that.
Another warmup sketch that got away from me, ha, oh no
Coulson Revived by Cupid’s Kiss (a riff on Canova’s Psyche Revived by Cupid’s Kiss), Rascal’s fix-it. Happy Valentine’s Day, everybody!
I’m not a big fan of Loki AS HE KILLED COULSON AND ALL but he has a wonderful costume and really amazing hair. 16 hours ago this piece started life as a warmup sketch before continuing with another project. It kind of got away from me.
WIP fanart: pencils for Scifigrl47’s Hollow Your Bones Like A Bird’s, a story I’ve been sketching versions of since *checks notebook* November. This may actually be the one that makes it to the ink and paint stage, I dunno, i have a lot of feels for this piece. The story is work in progress, it’s very good, you can find it here.
My take on Fury and Coulson from Battle Scars.
Inspired by Kanapy, some of my fav things from 2012.
… I just spent an hour and half drawing and toning a chicken rice set. What is wrong with me.
